• DESCRIPTION: A dramatic scene of cowboys and Indians hunting buffalo on the upper plains. In the background the snow covered Rocky Mountains rise. Sadly by the 1890's Buffalo were on the verge of extinction with only about 1,000 left from 30 million at the beginning of the 19th century.
