DESCRIPTION: This image was the only American racing scene produced by the husband-wife team Gamy and Ernest Montaut. The duo were responsible for creating many dramatic images of racing at a time when motorcars were new and intriguing. <br><br> The driver's car has a plate on the front reading "Peugeot," which is a French automobile company.
