DESCRIPTION: A rare 18th century American produced view of Harvard.<br><br> Shown left to right is Holden Chapel, Hollis Hall, Harvard Hall, and Massachusetts Hall.<br><br> This view appeared in The Massachusetts Magazine published by Isaiah Thomas in Worcester, Massachusetts between 1789 and 1795. This "Magazine" had a limited circulation and is considered by collectors to be quite rare. This map is rarely seen, especially in good condition as it was a fold out plate from the magazine and often was damaged or destroyed by use. An important piece of Americana.
