A fine representation of a 1870's American 4-4-0, a eight-wheel locomotive. .Circa date based on establishment of the Hinkley Locomotive Works in 1873; the firm was known as Hinkley and Williams from 1861 to 1872. An earlier variant of this print showing the Hinkley locomotive was drawn on stone by Samuel S.
