DESCRIPTION: This broadsheet advertises the play "Child of the Regiment". Brougham's Lyceum was opened in 1850 by the Irish born actor John Brougham. It was located at 485 Broadway, near Broome Street. Under Brougham the theater never achieved financial success and was closed at some point in 1853.
