DESCRIPTION: A handsome map of ancient Germany. Janson largely based this map on Ortelius's map that was issued in his Parergon. Ortelius's information was taken from Greek and Roman sources including Pliny, Strabo, Virgil and others.

CONDITION: Good condition save for some minor issues along centerfold. Tiny area of loss in upper neat line. Fine original hand coloring.
