  • DESCRIPTION: Lithographed by Geo. Haywood.<br> Mt. St. Vincent was constructed as a convent and school by the Sisters of Charity of St. Vincent de Paul. They moved their school to the Bronx when Central Park as established. The site was located on the north end of the park. In 1881 the buildings were destroyed by fire.
