DESCRIPTION: Fortune’s map of fascist Italy (1922–1943). Some interesting factoids on the map is a little black hand representing the Mafia in Sicily and also notes that it has the worst labor conditions in Italy. Below the “boot” is mileage scale using a map of a map of Connecticut indicating that it is 88 miles wide. This map appeared in the July 1934 issue of Fortune Magazine.
