Havell Junr. <br><br> Third state with the name changed from Great American Cock Male to Wild Turkey.<br><br> This particular plate is often found with severe damage as it was the first plate in the first volume.

  • ADDITIONAL INFO: Printed on J Whatman Turkey Mill paper. Date present but obscured, 18**

  • CONDITION: Fair to good condition. Good color. Soft crease approximately 7" in, parallel to the left sheet edge. "No" in the number in the upper left trimmed due to binding and professionally re-instated. Backed on thin rice paper. Not unusual issues for plate one, number one in the set. Overall a nice example.
