DESCRIPTION: "I am a realist artist who works in printmaking, drawing and paint. More specifically, I work in etching, lithography (from the stone), watercolor, oil paint, graphite and charcoal. <BR><BR> My subjects are found in the world around me. I find ‘the fact’ far more interesting, wonderful and strange than anything I can summon up from my imagination.<BR><BR> The qualities I look for in a work of art are: sincerity, authenticism and eloquence. And of course a love of the truth.<BR><BR> I feel very much in the service of some sort of Muse. That’s who I work for. She tells me what to do and when. The important thing is to make myself available for this work as often as possible. I have learnt that an inner preparation, vigilance, is necessary. One never knows when one will be called."
