  • DESCRIPTION: "To every Lover of Liberty, this Plate is humbly dedicated by her true born Sons, in Boston New England. "<br><br> One of the rarest of all known engraved prints by Revere.<br><br> The original copper plate is engraved on both sides. On the verso is Reveres engraving of a Masonic certificate.<br><br> The original copper plate survives and now in the collection of the National Gallery in Washington. The donor of the plate was a Mr. Lessing Rosenwald, just before he donated the plate he had Richard E. Bishop, a print maker and printer, pull nineteen proofs of this and the Masonic certificate.<br><br>
