This edition, bound by Sangorski & Sutcliffe for Henry Stevens, is enriched with over 150 additional portraits and maps, offering a detailed account of the American Revolution. John Paul Jones (1747–1792), best known for his leadership in the Battle of the H.M.S. Serapis on September 23, 1779, where he famously declared, "I have not yet begun to fight," played a key role in establishing the U.S. Navy and remains a celebrated figure in American naval history.
