DESCRIPTION: A pair of satirical scene of folks on horseback and carriage chasing an unseen stag.<br><br> The Epping Forest Stag Hunt was an annual event Easter Monday was a favourite of early 19th-century London East Enders, who would travel up to the woods to track down an elderly stag released from a cart. The event was banned in 1847. This pair of prints shows you Bunbury's comic take on it.

CONDITION: Overall in good condition and with original hand coloring. Timed to neatline on top and side. Bother prints were at one time bound into a scrapbook with associated glue residue on verso.
