Of whom may be had Winter & Domestic Amusements, containing the above & several hundred other curious & entertaining experiments."<br><br> Hodson likely copied the process from the work of William Spooner. “Protean” prints were images that were transformational. The process was accomplished by means of coloring, which by use of heat and light would alter the image or show a hidden image. A wonderful curiosity for the period.
