One of a fine group of twenty two portraits of prominent scullers produced by Vanity Fair.<br><br> Lehmann rowed at Henley Royal Regatta where he finished last in every heat he entered, from the 1877 Visitors' to the 1888 Wyfolds. He was first boat captain of first Trinity and later he was Captain of Leander. He went on to become a rowing coach, an author and a Liberal politician
