A wonderfully detailed image. This hotel was located at the corner of American Row and State Street. Other businesses located in the building include a stage office (with the stage in front), a clothing store, Pekin Tea Co. A cigar store, with a carved Indian in front, a sign painter and the Depository of Art. The lithographic publishing firm of Colton & Co. was a short-lived partnership between Frederick P.
