  • DESCRIPTION: A handsome view of the Royal Exchange's main building at the west end of Cornhill, on the corner of Threadneddle Street. The Royal Exchange first opened in 1566 It burned in the Great Fire of 1666 and was later rebuilt in 1669. It burned again in 1838.
