DESCRIPTION: Marjorie Windust (Halper) - Was born in Paris, France, in 1908 and moved to the United States as a child. She studied at the Art Students League under Thomas Hart Benton and Charles Hawthorn. She married critic and writer, Nat Halper, and summered in Provincetown from 1930 onward. She did not produce a large body of prints, most of her work is in oil painting. Windust was a member of National Association of Women Artists, Artists Equity, The Art Students League and the Provincetown Art Association. <br><br>
