  • DESCRIPTION: This etching was created to commemorate the thirtieth anniversary of the founding of the Idun Society. The Idun (or Goddess of Youth) was a scientific, literary, and artistic club in Stockholm, founded by Harald Ossian Wieselgren (seen carrying the toast), the chief librarian at the Stockholm National Library. Behind him, from left to right, are the archaeologist Hans Hildebrand; Ernst Asel Key, Professor of Medicine; Carl Fredrik Waern, former Minister of Finance in Sweden; and Nils Erik Nordenskiold, an explorer who discovered the North-East Passage. – E.Broun <br><br>
