• DESCRIPTION: From Cozzen's series "American Yachts". Printed by Armstrong & Co. Sandy Hook to the Needles depicts the start beginning of the great race across the Atlantic Ocean to the Needles on the coast of England. It shows the three participating yachts, the Fleetwing , Henrietta , and Vesta. Headed out into the Atlantic at Sandy Hook. The Henrietta won the race taking 13 days 22 hours. The Fleetwing arrived 8 hours afterwards, and the Vista 1 1/2 hours later.
